Winterland is the name that is present everywhere around the city of Karachi on advertising posters and in conversations of the residents. The weather in Karachi is usually humid during summers and gets cold for hardly 2 to 3 months.  Its locals need to visit northern areas or other countries in order to enjoy the snowfall. However, it seems that it is not the case anymore. The Winterland at PAF Museum is now offering a proper indoor snowfall setup.

The popularity of this fabulous place has reached even up to the celebrities and they are making sure about visiting it.

Yes! That Is True!

The Winterland turned out to be the first ever snow park of Pakistan that opened its gates on the 4th of January, 2020. This snow-themed park has a number of attractions for the visitors with the temperature of as low as minus 10 degrees.

What does it offer us?

Since the place welcomes every age group, it has various activities to engage the public. You can enjoy bumper cars, slides made up of ice, snow playing area, bumper cars, ice hockey, and many other games.

The most exciting feature of Winterland that makes it authentic and a must-go is the real snowfall. You heard it right, there is real snowfall that is created by enabling the required temperature for it. So call your friends and team up for the snow fight.

How to get the tickets?

The tickets are subjected to be bought online and not from the park on arrival. Inform the booking office 10 minutes earlier before starting the session.

Right now there is an introductory price of 1500 rupees are going on. That includes a jacket, gloves, and activities inside.

Whereas, the regular price of tickets is 2000 rupees that will be consisted of all the fun inside along with gloves and hoodies.

On the other hand, if there is any senior citizen or children under 2 years, then they are exempted of any ticket.

Timings for the Winterland

The theme park will be open throughout the week from 2 to 10 pm. The entertainment is designed on hour long sessions that start at 3 pm. The last session ends at 11 pm.

You can reach to the venue from Gate 4 of Pakistan Air force Museum that is on Shahrah e Faisal.

Some safety measures

while visiting, it is advisable to cover yourself completely to avoid any health or safety issue. Do not take any flammable item with you inside as it is highly risky.

If anyone is suffering from flu or fever, especially old age, pregnant women or children, then they must avoid visiting Winterland in this situation.
