Ali Sadpara is a well known name for those who follow the mountain climbing sport. On Friday, he hiked one of the fatal mountain in the world, Mont Blanc.
Mont Blanc is the tallest peak in the Alps and ranks 11th in the world. The height of this peak is 4,808 from the qsea level.
About Ali Sadpara
Originally from Sadpara village that is near Skardu of Gilgit Baltistan, Ali was born there in 1977. Sadpara has climbed Nanga Parbat in the season of winter that is a record in itself by any Pakistani climber.
Ali Sadpara has also championed the mountain peaks of 8,000 meters in Pakistan, which are five of these peaks. He has climbed Gasherbrum I (8,080 m), Broad Peak (8,051 meters), K2 (8,611 meters), Nanga Parbat (8,126 meters) and Gasherbrum II (8,051 meters).
Achievements of Sadpara
Muhammad Ali Sadpara has set a record of climbing Mont Blanc by any Pakistani for the first time. Earlier, Ali Sadpara has hiked the highest 8th peak of the world in Nepal called Manaslu. The distinctive feature of this climbing was that it was done without an oxygen bottle. Other than these peaks, he has climbed the peaks of Makalu and Lhotse in Nepal. Ali has waved the flag of Pakistan on every peak that he hikes.
Sadpara has this aim of climbing peaks to a height of more than eight thousand meters. This is indeed a proud moment for the country, plus, it shows that Pakistanis are into other sports as well except cricket. Sadpara is a hard working and determined person since childhood where he survived amongst his 8 siblings. Not only that, his early life consisted of working a load bearer to the mountaineers who come to hike K2 or Gasherbrum.
His regular porter trips with the hikers made it feasible for him to know the mountain regions and routes.
